The Perfect Gentleman

Who is a Perfect Gentleman? What makes up a Perfect Gentleman? These are questions that had always crossed my mind and I’m sure they have crossed yours. So, I did some research, understood them, and brought them straight to you, my TME family.
This is going to be a two-part post. This being the first one, and the second one to be released on my next post; So, watch out for that. Now, let’s get back to business.
Who is a Perfect Gentleman? According to quora, A person who understands how to respect himself, the person or people he cares about, and every other person around him, can be called a Perfect Gentleman.
These are the qualities a Perfect Gentleman possesses.
He:
1. Is Generous: He is always ready to give more of something than he is expected to. Whether it be money, time, wisdom or service, he is always ready to give more than expected.
2. Is Respectful: He accepts that some people in his life are important, therefore, he holds them in high esteem and understands not to try to change or offend them.
3. Knows how to Love: He knows what to feel, how to feel, and how to express love for the people he cares for, and everyone around him.
4. Is confident: He is outgoing, he believes in himself and is also certain and proud about his qualities and abilities. But, he also knows not to let it get to is head to avoid bragging.
5. Is Hardworking: He puts his heart in whatever he does, be it in work or his relationship. He is committed and diligent.
6. Is Intelligent: He brings reasonable input into various situations and conversations He finds himself in. NOTE. This does not necessarily involve having a degree or going to school.
7. Is Wise: He is sensible, he gives good judgment and pieces of advice.
8. Always appears Sharp: He knows how to combine colours and pieces to fit his body complexion, body size and shape. He doesn’t look shabby, and he knows what to wear, when and where.
9. Is Honest: He is always truthful, sincere and trustworthy. He is never caught lying, no matter the situation. In basic words, His yes is yes, and his no is no.
10. Knows how to set his priorities straight: He knows that in all things, his family comes first above all other things and he knows not to put them in the path of danger.
11. Is not a Gossip: Apart from playful discussions with his girlfriend, he knows that talking about other people behind their backs, or spilling secrets kept with him is wrong and time wasteful.
12. Is Playful: Life is too hard as it is, to be with a boring person; so a gentleman knows how to break boredom and make people around him laugh. He can crack jokes and even take some. This is important but highly underrated.
13. Has Self-Control: He is able to restrain his temper, emotions, and desires especially in trying situations.
14. Is Forgiving: He should be ready and willing to show mercy in spite of temperamental situations.
15. Is a Leader: He is capable of dishing out orders and heading a group or family.
16. Can also be a Follower: He can also take orders and commands and support a particular person or set of ideas.
